olive Oil 3

The unique qualities that bring the Greek EVOO we market are:

  1. the very low acidity (less than 0.3 or 0.7 accordingly) compared to other EVOO production countries,
  2. the mono-variety production of “Koroneiki” that guarantees superior quality, and
  3. the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) that proofs the purity of the olive oil (and not any blending).

In addition all the bottles bear a traceability number that verifies the dates of the whole process from the day of harvest to the day of bottling.

Pure Greek Honey

Greece has the highest density of bees per sq. km while on the other hand there is only 10 kilosproduction of honey per beehive compared to about 30 kilos in the rest of Europe. This discrepancy gives to the Greekhoney superior aroma, taste and density that distinguish it from the rest. The majority (60-65%) of Greek honey comes from trees and this is the reason that has less sugar and is ideal for mixing it with other types of honey.

The only category of honey that comes from Greece as PDO is the magnificent honey of “Vanilla Fir-Tree of Mainalo Mountain” of Peloponnese –Arcadia, and this is the reason we picked this region for our honey. Through a strict selection of local honey producers 4 distinctive categories, including the world renowned “Vanilla Fir-Tree”, are carefully packed under international food safety standards. The final product is pure fresh Greek honey delivered with its unique quality.

The Greek Oregano, Origanum vulgare, is one of the most distinguished of the world. It is found only in the eastern Mediterranean countries and especially in Greece. Its distinct aroma, flavor and scientifically proved antibacterial activity make it one of the most tasty herbs of the world. We have found the authentic Greek Oregano grown and produced by local farmers in the mountains of central Greece and packed under strict international standards. Our Greek Oregano is harvested every year in summer where the plants are in full blossom and dried directly under the Greek sun to keep its natural flavors.

The traditional way of growing, harvesting and drying the Greek Oregano along with the minimal mechanical process guarantees the freshness of the final product. The dry, closed environment with the sealed packaging brings all the aroma and flavor to your plate.
